Blog Post 5

In class the teacher assigned the students to read an article describing how astronauts were selected through several psychological, intellectual, and physical tests in heated and frozen environments to see if they would last. Their were originally thirty one astronauts contenders however the test limited them to roughly seven astronauts after testing was completed. The tests that I took were somewhat difficult as I couldn't be considered eligible to become an astronaut as I mostly failed one question each for the tests. The only exception was the hidden figures test because I didn't understand the directions at first until I read the directions over a few times but by then I failed the test. It wasn't like I was put under extreme heat or extreme cold either it was a mid temperature room I was put in while doing the test and I've mostly failed each one. This is to say that I can't be an astronaut due to my intellectual and phycological skills.
